The National Beef Cookoff started Jan. 15 and runs through April 15, 2013. There will be seven $1,500 regional winners to be announced in July 2013. The grand winner of $25,000 will be announced from the remaining 14 finalists in November at the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Washington, D.C. The grand prize winner will be selected based on the highest overall scoring recipe.
