The first cool, blustery Friday of May kicked off Nebraska Beef Month celebrations in Seward at the Pac N Save. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, the Burger Bash had a fantastic turn-out. During the 2-hour event, over 200 hamburgers were sold. Attendees filled their stomachs on a 1/3-pound hamburger served with chips and a soda for the unbeatable price of $2.50. Proceeds from the event went to support a mission trip for students at Bryan College of Health Sciences.
“We had a great event to kick off Beef Month at the Seward Pac N Save,” said Adam Wegner, Director of Marketing for the Nebraska Beef Council. “A big thank you to the area beef producers and volunteers that made this event possible.”
Not only could you get a tasty lunch in honor of beef month but inside, the store offered great sales on all types of beef. The event had live radio coverage from Froggy 98 and door prizes for those who attended. What an awesome opportunity!
